Market Insights: Liability Landscape
Just like in 1987, the year we founded United Educators (UE) as a captive, K-12 schools, colleges, and universities have few places to turn for their specific exposures. UE offers some of the highest limits available for education and its most challenging risks, such as traumatic brain injuries and sexual misconduct, providing options that may not otherwise be available.

The Council of Insurance Agents & Brokers (CIAB) reported increased premiums for the 25th consecutive quarter in the fourth quarter of 2023. Costs connected to claim defense and settlements have continued to rise. As a member-owned captive focusing solely on education, UE works in partnership with our members to help navigate distinct risks and opportunities that surround every school or campus today. We'll keep monitoring the market and education environment and will do what we can to stand by you, as we always have, when things get tough.
